On Thursday nights The ‘Stro is a licensed venue and is strictly an 18+venue. We offer free college return buses, food (a continuous BBQ), ID scanning, security guards and security cameras for these evenings.
It is a condition of entry to the licensed premises known as The ‘Stro that an acceptable proof of age document will be produced on request. In addition to proof of age, proof of membership (i.e. student or staff card) must also be produced on request. Where no proof of membership card is available, the person becomes a guest provided that they are signed in as a guest by a member who has proof of membership and observes all the rules and regulations that may apply.
A surcharge may apply where guests are not students or staff of UNE, this will change depending on the event.
SSAFhelps to fund The ‘Stro, helping us provide a safe space and entertainment on Thursday evenings.
Our aim is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone’s enjoyment.
To maintain this standard, we have implemented a code of conduct in which management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not respect The ‘Stro, its staff or its policies. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
